First Group X Instagram Post

Updated: Feb 25, 2020

Below is our first post for the campaign. We went with this post to kick off the campaign because it showcases what is to come. It shows the excitement someone can get from the Group X classes, something we really want to show during our campaign. We do not have any original content yet, but we figured this picture would be good for setting the tone of the campaign. We edited the picture so the colors would be vibrant and pop, making the picture very visually appealing. We respond to color and are more likely to pay attention to stimuli which pop out at us, and we edited the picture to follow that logic.

We are as excited as our Group X instructors to announce our series showcasing our 31 Group X classes offered through Rec Sports! This series will jump, run, and cycle into our amazing Group X classes to show the amazing features they offer. Stay tuned! ⛹️🚴🧘

Going forward, we are planning on getting original content throughout this upcoming week. Jack, Molly, and Scott will be contacting Sarah and making sure we have the legal right to go into classes to take pictures of the participants. They will also make sure to ask the class participants first before using their images for the project. They will take pictures showing the excitement and camaraderie the Group X classes bring to the participants. While we would like to get content from every class, we realize it is a tall task. To help make sure we can get a wide variety of content on social media, we will alternate posts showcasing popular and not as popular classes. Some of the classes have more than one type (e.g. gentle vs hatha yoga), and we will try to stay away from posting about the same general type of class twice. This strategy will give the most coverage to the most types of classes in the shortest amount of time.
